Wastewater Treatment
Innovative Container's wastewater treatment system is designed to drastically reduce Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), solids, and color from its influent. The result is a wastewater that is more easily received by the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW). Innovative Container utilizes the principles of coagulation and flocculation to chemically precipitate contaminants that contribute to BOD, COD, solids, and color. Following chemical precipitation, clarification and filtration are used to remove these contaminants from the wastewater influent. The treated wastewater effluent is then sent to the local POTW for final treatment. Filtered solids, meanwhile, are sent to a local landfill for disposal.Learn what Innovative Container is doing to protect the environment and see why it has been named one of South Carolina's top 10 fastest growing companies for the third consecutive year by viewing a brief video presentation.
